Owl carrying lantern half sleeve tattoo. A client approached me in Chiang Mai asking me to design a custom owl tattoo. He had the idea that he wanted a big tattoo on his arm. As I was designing the tattoo took shape with the owls two wings stretched out to create a fuller effect on the clients arm. The yellow of the owl’s eyes and the lantern create a bit of color in the tattoo. I enjoyed doing this tattoo very much because of the very detailed shading that went into each of the owl’s feathers.
This is a fun full sleeve that a client came to me with recently. The sleeve features Japanese motifs including a mask and a snake. The tattoo features a lot of black work with floral details that have the option of being coloured in later but stand alone as black and grey work. This was a very fun tattoo that was done in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

A stylized tattoo of a bee I did on a long time client and friend. She came to the Chiang Mai studio with the idea of having a bee done on her forearm but as a client I have tattooed before she had full trust leaving the design of the bee to me. The end result is a large been with a high level of detailed shading work. A large eye in the center of the bee’s back creates an offset to the tattoo that make it more than a simple bee tattoo. The simple black and grey tattoo design really helps the create a unique tattoo.
Traditional Thai Buddha Hand Tattoo that a client asked me to create something to remind me of his time spent in Thailand. While he was visiting Chiang Mai he approached me to do a tattoo that was uniquely Thai but was more than a traditional Thai tattoo. The tattoo brings together elements of Buddhism and Thai traditional culture without being overly religious.
